Is Social Media a Fad A rather snazzy video outlining what’s what with the social media juggernaut

Essential viewing for the less tech-savvy of us

Those of you au fait with all things social media will no doubt have seen the incredibly powerful video ‘Social Media Revolution’, produced by Socialnomics.

Well, such is the speed with which SM advances, that the company has now had to produce an updated video barely a year after the first. Even if you have already seen the first video, this update makes for essential viewing and an excellent tool with which to educate less tech-savvy members of your business.

Here it is.  Enjoy.

Read the sources for this video and it completely undermines it.

  • Social medias moving so fast, whenever you make a tutorial on it there’s bound to be a new site or trend making it out of date.

I’ve always found the best way to stay on top social media is to jump in and participate. Once you’re blogging, twittering, facebooking etc you can easily monitor and react to new trends and move faster than your competition who are waiting for the media to report new trends .
