And, in 11th spot, coming up fast on the rails, for those who also want to find out how “marketing” might translate, one day, into helping “sales” people to actually engage with their suspects, prospects and customers, I bring you…
ModernSelling.com
Group Bio: The place where real people involved in selling and sales management can meet each other, and the sales team support service and product suppliers, and start off that part of the buying/selling process that actually gets the orders signed and the products or services delivered. (Does still try to take account of what the marketers are doing though, of course!) Articles, ideas, thought leadership, best practice and people fed from main site.
Best for: Sorting out what sales people are supposed to be doing as part of “the marketing mix”.
Members: 1,437 (not that many sales people have been “allowed” online yet, but they’re coming!)
Group Owner: ModernSelling.com – Neil Warren (Publisher – and noisy self-publicist!); Nick de Cent (Editor – and somewhat more professional, objective and refined!)
Try Digital Media Group – UK and Ireland just shy of 1500 members.

John, 1,500 in 5 months is very good going. Good work.
What a great list! I am a web designer and have been looking for a few worthwhile groups to join to bounce off some marketing and design ideas for my own business and ongoing client projects.
