Yes, thank you Andy. I had a moment of regression to my creative days (few and far between now, alas) and actually this piece wasn't supposed to end the way it did (most child fables have a happy ending!) but it just sort of did.

Still, between the 'fluff' lies the foundations of modern-day a modern-day truth and I (as people will no-doubt learn at TRU London) am an OMJ ambassador for community engagement. As a member of the job board space to which you refer, we believe that without sich evolution the future ain't too pretty for one-dimensional media.

Ants are the most industrious creatues on the planet. And highly intelligent. I trust your colony is a good one.

Once upon a time there was a recruiter. He lived in a nice little office and had an apple every day for his lunch........sorry Simon, I just continue this pap!! (You obviouisly have a knack of writing fluffy fairy tales! LOL)

I think you have written a great post here - you are so right, communities and hubs will be so key going forward for recruiters. This will especially be prevelant in the niches or specialist industries, as they have things in common. Maybe even the niche job boards will learn how to take this concept further, and build proper communities that intereact with each other? (Then again maybe not!!)

Right, I am off to continue building my ant colony!!
