London, 31st March 2010: The Marketing Academy, the inspirational forum for industry leaders, marketing gurus, academics, entrepreneurs and marketing practitioners, has announced today that following an unprecedented response, nominations for scholarships are now closed.

The rigorous selection process begins as the Marketing Hall of Legends’ team are faced with the challenge of choosing the ‘best of the best’.

Not only have these marketing superstars been given ringing endorsements from their bosses, to demonstrate their talent and creativity they’ve each had to produce ‘Showcase Me’ segment – to be read, watched or heard in just 2 minutes.

Sherilyn ShackellSherilyn Shackell founder of The Marketing Academy said: “The calibre of marketing talent that has been nominated for the Scholarships is exceptional and the time, energy and effort the nominees have gone through to create their Showcases is enormously inspiring.”

The Marketing Academy 2010 Scholarships will be announced in May. The lucky 25 will then embark on 12 months of world class mentoring from industry leaders and development by the top marketing agencies in the country.
